Although the plot may seem uninteresting, the rhythm of the film and the performances make it interesting and it is able to capture the viewer's attention. Perhaps the only negative is that the plot is not that interesting and does not go deep into the characters, it is as if there were no subplots and there is a lot of implied interpretation.
